Hi. Sorry if this has already been posted! I have downloaded a couple of tree packs and installed them ok. They are displayed ok in the game editor and preview game mode but when the game has been built they are all grey/white...i.e. no textures. Any ideas? I've attached a screen shot..1 showing the editor and the other the built game so you can see what I mean.

Thanks

Try searching for "trees" in this forum and the models and media forum.
There are posts that explain this and how to fix it.

Found the threads that advise on this problem. Checked fpe for correct path of any elements....all ok. Checked all files are in the built game folder...all ok.

To try and fix this I created a small level with an Ash Tree in it. The files for the Ash Tree were added directly into the Entities folder (in the fpe the x file is direcly referred to....no path). Then I built the game exe....same problem.

I've attached a zip file containing the Ash Tree. Could you check it out?

Thanks a lot for the help. I think my games will look more effective with a bit of greenery!

make sure you move the texture images in to the built game entities folder. then retry it.

Textures are in the entities folder. All files related to the tree are in there. Thanks for the help! Download my zip and try it if you like.

the trick fix is easy providing you have the images converted to the proper formats (.tga and .png)

Changed the x file to refer to the new tga graphic files...still same problem. Thanks for the help. I'll get Treemagic and see if I can create trees myself. Let me know if you do fix problem though!
