Over on Blitzbasic.com I put a lot of links in my signature for RPG-type stuff.

Here they are:

Buildings and Vegetation - Characters coming soon - keep an eye out

Buildings

Weapons

Characters

Buildings

Buildings and Characters
http://www.realmcrafter.com/catalog/index.php

Buildings and Items
http://www.darkroomstudios.com/component/page,shop.browse/category_id,2/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,1/

Characters and Items

Is there anything that is known in the Dark Basic community that I should add to my list. I tend to harvest RPG Fantasy/medieval stuff on sight - buildings, items, characters.

Feel free to add any more links to this thread.

You will probably already be aware of Aliencodec's trees and vegetation (which is in my BB sig) plus TED as both feature on this site.

This is a Fantasy RPG type one, but it was too low poly for me:

http://www.basilstudio.com/facetutorial.html what a horrible tutorial... That sheds absolutely no light on how to pant faces >,>... If you can do the first step you can do all three...

not your fault but I just thought it was nonsence.

Mmm, nobody in DB community has submitted any links.

I searched through your community and found the following:

Buildings:
http://www.turbosquid.com/HTMLClient/FullPreview/FullPreview.cfm/ID/221989/Action/FullPreview

Characters and Vehicles - I forgot all about "psionic" who is a fellow Blitzer:

Medieval Weapons
http://www.togamario.com/pack.html

Quite a wide variety in here:
http://www.dexsoft-games.com/freebies.html

I found more packs which, unfortunatley, had invalid links.

Its not that their models are low poly that they look bad, its because of their textures....For example I make lower poly swords than that but they look hundreds of times better....

Very good links Puki I didn't know that Realm Crafter had started selling their models yet.

Be warned - the Cubix Studios models don't seem to include an attack animation.

The Basil Studios models are good, but the .x files didn't work at all. I just re-exported the .ms3d versions and it fixed the problems.

Come see the WIP!
