I've been meaning to ask this question for sometime now. You know in the FPE file the "textured" variable that specifys the object's texture, well how come by default the texture is "object.TGA" when the actual object texture isn't in TGA format but DDS. Yet, somehow FPSC recognises the DDS texture through the TGA extension when it is wrong? Is it a mistake?

nope thats just the way the system works. also if you notice the .x is no longer needed after the .dbo is created.keep this in mind when making a compile of your game. you can save some space by removeing the .x files and .tga files

Well, You can make a dds texture and export it together with Your objects... This is what uman does and this is what I will start doing as well, because then You can be sure that the dds quality is best, and You dont need to throw away any unused tga files that is just junk...

I want to see a FPSC Professional! And lets make it REALLY expensive this time......
