is it possible to write a dll in visual basic 6 for dbpro?and exist an example to explain it?i have try to make a dll with one function the dbpro compiler return an error.

No, you cannot make a DLL for DBPro with Visual Basic. You need a language that can compile a non-COM DLL (Visual C++, Delphi, etc).

Yeah, I always thought the whole "Make Dll" Wizard ting in VB was a bit of a cop out / lie

I'm pretty sure that those TCP/UDP dlls that are posted on RGT were written in PowerBasic. ...PureBasic might do it as well.
