GameSpace light is the "trial version" of GameSpace. It has all functions enabled though, but few restrictions: can only save models of up to 650 polygons, scenes of up to 5000 polygons, most of the import and export formats are removed (you still have .X for using the models in your games or code!), rendering is limited in size and will have a watermark, and you cannot load plug-ins into gameSpace Light.

I'm just here to say Don't use 3D canvas, I'm getting blender pretty soon, so maybe you should drop gamespace and go with blender

I own gamespace and I can tell you it is a quality program. I would say it is good, but that depends on what you are planing on using it for. I am using it for some small animations and illustrations. My suggestion is to try out gamespace or truspace (the program gamespace is based on) and see how it compares to other programs, free and commercial. I would also recommend that you spen sime time trying to use each program, don't give up just because you don't like the interface. Caligari has some great free video tutorials that help explain how to use the program. It should be under Caligari, Truespace 6 resouces and Truespace 3 resources in the bottom of thier page. If you're worried about the money, well most of the time compinies have some sale or the other going on, so check their websites often.

TitanQuest, KOTOR, KOTOR 2, AOE3, Oblivion...
Truespace, Gamespace, Darkmatter, Goldwave...
