Over in the "The 20 Line Challenge" forum, did anyone like my fireworks program?

You will need to download the media file from your browser, geocities is funny that way.

You can change the number of Maxshells that fire - up to 20, but my machine AMD 1800+ works best with 10.

You can also make your own star patterns by modifying the 15x15 pixel bitmaps in the media files, just don't alter the FW-bloom.bmp.

Let me know what you think....I used DBPro.

I'm amazed no one has a comment about my fireworks program. I thought it came out well.

Maybe there is a problem with the media download.

I don't know if you were able to get it to work, or maybe it is too cpu intensive for slower machines, mine is an AMD 1800+.

Some feedback would have been nice, since we are all learning from our own experiences with DB, as well as learning from each other.

I thought it was cool.
I had no problem downloading it, but it might not have been working when I tried the first time. I like the patterns it makes after exploding.

Thanks Andrew11, glad you liked it. You can even change the star patterns if you want to.

Just edit the .bmp files in a paint package and save them out as the same filenames (unless you change the filenames in the source code), just don't alter the FW-bloom.bmp file.

Sorry to hear that darkfluff, I know we all like to hear about our work, get some feedback, and hope that people will enjoy our efforts.

You didn't mention if you had a chance to try my program yet, and if you liked it.

Has anyone made their own star pattern for the fireworks yet by editting one of the 15x15 pixel .bmp files?
