Well, to start off, I'm takinga break from working on my 3D modeling and related skills. This is because at the moment, my computer is practically dissassembled, because I was having hardware issues. I did manage to narrow it down to my video card. But, at the moment, my RAM isn't in...my video card doesnt work...I need to clean it up a bit... But basically, I'm out of my computer until i get a job, which i should be able to do around the same time school starts. Anywho, I might still keep an eye on threads here, and post a bit, but we won't see any work from me anytime soon, and I haven't put any work up in a while, so I imagine I won't be particularly missed. Hopefully, in a couple months, I'll get a new case(the case and board I have right now are very...well...difficult, courtesy of my brother), and board, and salvage what I can, but in the end I'll basically start over from scratch. Enough about that, cya'll!

Well, with the help of my brother, I have resolved my issues with my video card. Now all I have to do is find a replacement floppy drive, or get internet connected to my computer, and I'll be able to start showing my work again!

Speaking of floppy drives. I was reading up a bit on computer hardware, and came across a part where they mentioned "Superdisk" Drives. It said that they can format a normal floppy disk to have over 32 MB of storage on it, and that Superdisks carried 250 MB. I'm about to run a google on them, but was wondering if anyone here knew where/how much I could get my hands on them for.

Well, its been nice knowing you and will await your return, be quick to fix your comp, I can imagine a guy from the 3D World Forum called John-S coming up with this solution 'get a mac' but comments like that here aren't welcome. Well anyway, good luck finding the problem, if it is the ram, I'd replace it, my RAM is giving my grief, but I see no point replacing it, although it does stress me out, my mobo won't let me have more than 256mb, and I have it and well as I am saving up for a Mac Pro, I don't see the point replacing my ram for something less faulty, when once I get my Mac Pro, I can keep on updating the ram until I reach 16gb.

Hehehe, Sepp, said I resolved my issues. Well, other than the floppy bit. My RAM and all that good stuff is all cleaned and put back together. I just can't post any current work of mine(all 1 projects), until I get a working floppy.

I only use the floppy for rebooting my computer, so I would get it fixed, not just for your work, but other things, you can pick up floppys relatively cheap, but I remember getting a virus once where I couldn't access my drives, can't remember how we fixed it, I think maybe the floppy was working and we rebooted, or we used something on the internet to allow us to get to the floppy. But if the problem is not hardware, then buying a new floppy won't do good

The problem with my floppy is it will read but not write...well...most of the time...a couple days ago I got 10 minutes where it was writing for me. I'd just burn a CD-RW, but the internet computer can't read burnt data disks. So, I'm stuck waiting until I get a new floppy, or get my computer connected to the internet.
