It won't work no matter what I do to it. I'm sure the sprite number is 11, I check this a billion times. Also, sprite 11 is overlapping all of the Rex frames. Any ideas?

What I would suggest put the sprite collision(11,rex)in a variable.
i.e. sprt_coll = sprite collission(11,rex)

Below is your code with my suggestion included.

for rex = 1 to 8
sprt_coll = sprite collission(11,rex)
If sprt_col > 0
Center Text 200, 200, "COLLISION!"
endif
next rex
