Hi. I was just wondering if anybody has had any luck modifying the FPSC code in DBPro. It would be cool if we could start a thread for those who wish to share tips and additions to the code base. I was about to set off on making a couple changes and was wondering if there was anyone else out there willing to give some basic pointers.

EDIT:
To make it easier for others (like me) to find, I thought I'd keep a list of other source code modification threads as people point to them in the posts below.

I have searched. First of all "FPSC", "DBPro", "code" and their equivalents are pretty prevalent in the forum and don't give all that coherent of a search result. I have found some entries though.

Really I was looking to bring together the people who are tinkering around with the code for a bit of synergy. Or of course if there is an active thread where some coherent brainstorming is already, it would be nice to know where.

Thanks Candles Games! I've started to collecting the FPSC source code modifications and discussions into a more accessible list at the top.

TRANSPARENT PEOPLE PROBLEM

I guess I'll try asking this question again since no one answered it in the DBPro forum. Its probably best asked here anyway ...

For some odd reason after compiling the unmodified FPSC code (newest version) and copying it to the FPSC directory, character entities become oddly transparent when I run the test levels. They kind of look like ghosts, which is cool, but not the intended effect. The walls and such are fine. When I return the official compilation all is well again. Anyone have any hints on what could be going wrong here?

Keith
