No, a one in front of a hundred zeros is a googol, a googolplex is a googal to the power of ten. That's a 1 in front of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 zeros! It is the largest finate number.

After all a bigger number would be a googolplex to the power of a googolplex.

Not that you could ever have a use for such a large number. Processors won't be able to handle that number of digits for a few years yet.

In fact the biggest no. I could think of relating to PCs apart from processor speeds is exabytes (the NTFS file system can handle up to 4 Exabyte-sized hard-drives! You could fit the entire Google archive many times over onto that!)

Presumably this thread is about the cheating git on Who wants to be a millionaire. His 1 million pound question was about the googol. He has now been found guilty of cheating with the aid of a coughing stooge (quite right too)
