Can someone tell me how to get ideas of how to make maps and get ideas for the game.

You're asking what's all needed to make your own models.

1. Creativity
2. 3D Modeling software
3. Model texture
4. Model converted to .x file
5. .fpe file for your model
6. .fpi file for your model (If it's Dyn.)

i use truespace, its free. textureing... you can use dogwafle,gimp,
paint, a digatal camra acan come in handy. you should also get the entiry maker on the downloads page.

agreed, i just started out to and only have 4 weird models without textures.

3.2 Ghz PD Processor, 2 GB of (667 Mhz) RAM, 10,000 RPM HD,
ASUS GeForce 7950 GX2 (1 GB of onboard video memory)

Search for it in downloads, follow instructions CAREFULLY for installation. I'm pretty sure they have 3.2 now. Also, there are tons of other great modelling/sound/2d programs on there. Most software on there is FULL FREE version you can download in a LEGAL manner for promotional reasons.
