Due to my other faliers in games making due to bugs in dbp etc, i decided to start over.

now i have discovered yet another problem. this time with randomize matrix. :-s

no matter how high you set the max matrix height of randomize matrix you get a flat matrix, as if you run the code attached you will see.
[most distressing]

any thaughts would be apreciated.

also on a different note, my previous comment about cut, copy and paste not working, upgrading to the newest ide as sugested has made lettle impact.

You are not updating the matrix after changing it. Put "Update Matrix 1" after "randomize matrix".

Just add "UPDATE MATRIX 1" after the randomize statement
