Anim8or is a 3D modeling software freeware but i dont think u can import *.x files..

Anim8or doesn't import .x files but i did make a little program to convert .x files to .an8 it is not complete it only handles mesh and uv's no animation and if .x file contain's multiple meshes they are impoted as seperate objects but worked for what i needed it's here http://www.myfilebin.com/userfiles/fik/version2/x2anim8or.zip

X, you know I love you right!

Your so so wrong, i import x files all the time into milkshape before exporting them to max....

Just for clarification I posted a jpeg showing where you can import x formated models into milkshape - sorry on my laptop which doesn't have access to my webpages for direct posting of images...

Yeah I import .x into ms3d all the time....Direct X Mesh tools FTW.
