I believe the developer is still making it but is using a different engine.
Lizz is still developing her Silent Hill tribute game.
And Disturbing13 will be sure to post the same thing I am posting now...
Which is when you name your thread try to make it informative.
I am sure he will go into more detail when he posts here.

Because the title is non descriptive and uninformative and would be difficult to locate with the search function.
How many people are going to search with the words "what","ever","happened" or "to"?

Higgins doesn't complain about everything. There are quite a few threads that he hasn't posted in yet...
Just kidding,Higgins.

All joking aside,Higgins has a good point. The forums are becoming a mess simply because of thread titles like this.
Well there's not using the search function and other things but I digress...
There are a lot of simple things that we as forum members can do to make things easier for ourselves and for our fellow forum members and to make the forums a better place.
While such things may seems minor or nit-pickyish a few little things can add up to one big headache real quick.

Acceptance of people isn't the point, Smallfish. I understand that this is the FPSC Chat board, but Fred and Higgins do have a valid point. How many times have members been jumped on for asking a question without doing a search first? How is that member supposed to find what they're looking for if the title of the topic is vague at best?

What kept you from titling this thread: "What ever happened to Pencil Whipped 2"? That would have definately shown up on a search engine. If Lon happened to be doing a search on Pencil Whipped, he could have found this thread and answered your question easily.

Annoying us has nothing to do with it; we're just trying to help you get more results. But if you insist on posting ambiguous thread titles, go right ahead.

Why would I ban you? I suppose you're one of the members that view me as a "Forum OverLord", right?

Think about what you are trying to say before hitting the "Post Messege" button. If you're angry about something, wait till you calm down to post.

Maybe if you included pencilwhipped 2 in your title you may have gotten a response from Lon, its maker. many of us do just not even look at threads we have no intrest in, for example this thread; look how long it took me to even look at it and respond. The fact that Lon hasn't answered should tell you something.

Pencil Whipped 2 in FPSC is on hold until I see what an upgrade can bring.

The main roadblocks in its development are no save/load, slow frame rate, story zone videos that crash the game the second time you play them (in a compiled game) and the inability to create a custom inventory system (How can I use the "magical Book Of Bubba" without one?)

I’m waiting the wings to see what happens because I really like FPSC and the guys who made it. However I'm not going to short change myself and I am experimenting with another engine called Beyond Virtual (which so far is sweet) while I wait.

Hi Lon,

You may get some of what you need - not sure about the inventory. Someone will probably come up with one sooner or later.

I have a Demo copy of BV on my system though have only briefly run through it to look at the demo levels.

Good luck with the game anyway we hope to see it finished some day.
