Yah, i'm planning to enter that contest, and i know that it is very unlikley for me to win either especially because it is open to most of the world and professionals are allowed to enter the contest too.
I'm doing mine under Diablo, if that matters at all, but i cant wait to see the winning entries, theres going to be some cool stuff

18 years olds and above may enter... I checked this a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not quite 18, but I was going to enter my Lesser Demon, I'll see if they'll let me enter.

I was thinking of using someone myself. The wacon looks awefully nice, so does the Alienware, although I plan to go Mac, but hey.

Musashi, I you wish to enter you lesser demon, put it in the Diablo universe. And try to improve your model (even if your model is already awesome) because I saw the work of the other, and it is very good too. And if you enter this contest, I wish you good luck.

Thanks Sett, I will aim for the Diablo one rather than cinematics, I think I'd have more of a chance entering a low poly model that going for a high quality no poly count limit scene. And I will try to improve the model.

Well...I've turned my Lesser Demon low poly to fit within their requirements, I've made a few tweaks, I need to do a lot still, but I got Karate soon.

Polycount - Under 3k

Modelling in Hexagon 2, imported into Cinema 4D 6 where it was tweaked to look better as low poly and then rendered.

That looks really cool! Try texturing it with a red color! That looks great!

Well, he won't be red, he will be the colour of his original, it has red bits, but is mostly a blacky colour, unfortunately, my parents say no to the whole posting for me, they say may as well wait until next year to enter. So I'll get to work on my model thats for a differant competition that I am old enough to enter And I've got to write on that leaflet thing I got from superman today so I can send it in and win a trip to Rome...Okay, it wasn't the real superman, but I payed £2 to his charity and gave him a hug...

That's very nice. I hope you'll get a very good low poly model. That?s too bad that you can?t enter the contest.

im rather scared of entering this anyway, you guys should know tonnes of people from CGChat and Polycount are participating aswell, i even saw it in ImagineFX, thats gonna pull in some pro concept artists, lol

i noticed it ages before it started, it hasnt been the key aspect in mind, but i hope to make a submission...

im working on a human-barbarian-wilderness style dark warrior, however it looks not very much like blizzards art style, more of something out of UT2007 (according to my brother) but none the less it would be great to see if it gets anywhere!

i'll post a render when its complete, im half way through the texture, been making for 5 days so far...
