still haven't decided on how to complete her hair and I still need to finish the clothing... Just wanted to keep the boards populated with something other than 9mm and ak47's

Model was/is created for Gil's wip pirate game...

It's very good but (as of yet) not very piraty.

Whilst it's obviously a woman (an achievement in itself), she's a bit butch. This isn't a critisism as such, because it doesn't make her look like a man, and she is a pirate. I just thought I'd point it out.

If there's anything I don't like about it it's her nose, just because it's really thin at the top, then goes really wide at the bottom. It's no big deal though, I'm being really picky because there's nothing obviously out of place.

Well done and keep it up! It's a great model.

How many polys?

IceBound Melodic rock/metal band with loads of lead guitar, clean female vocals, and more guitars! What more could you want?

indeed she looks a little highpolly for good framerate.

@Bahamut:
lol, i never realized how hard it was to model "female" characters. This is the first one I can say she does like more feminine than masculine...

@Disturbing:
she is too high for a decent frame rate. There is one pass of mesh smooth which I am hoping to use for working out a normal map for the fabrics. The model in the first post is just over 6K

As for painting textures, at best I consider myself average.

Here is the low poly (DB version) of the character

edit: after looking at the image, I think I need to thin the face a bit more..

shes not curvy enough to be full woman.

Tthe torso and shoulders look like a mans (with breasts of course).

I would suggest exaggerating a bit to get a definate shape at all angles.

Nice, there's something wrong with her boobies though... I'd look at your human anatomy, especially in that area...and NO! I am not permitting you to google 'porn' but if you must, I am sure they're good referances...not saying that I've looked...

Gil and the guys are still working on it... Some progress has been made but I doubt anything will come of it anytime soon. Hopefully Gil & Lukas will prove me wrong...

Great model heckno . My only complaint is she has a bold looking line above her lip that makes her look like she has a thin mustache .

well, we did have a website, but then it crashed on us, and we just got it back up, but our old one was wiped out, we're in the process of making a new one right now . It's http://popr.lukasw.com/, our forums are where you can get information right now though: [href]Thttp://www.freeibforums.com/forums/index.php?mforum=PiratesofPortRo&act=idx[/href]

Actually, quite a bit of progress has been made in the past month or two . I just haven't revealed it publicly on our forums yet, I'm actually planning to within a few days when i get a few more quirks worked out . Lukas and I have also discussed getting a new WIP up within the next month or two, which will probably include:
Quote: "Total: 65%
World Builder: ? (Lukas will have to decide on this one, as he's making this.
Inventory: 95%
Crafting: 95%
Shop: 80%
Combat: 20%
Talk: 90%
Quest: 30%
AI: 20%
Design: 96%
Models: 50% "
