Note: For now you must use a XBox 360 controller to play this game. I don't believe any other joystick will work.

Controls:
Left Joystick - Move ship
Right Joystick - Shoot bullets
Left Trigger - Change Weapon Down
Right Trigger - Change Weapon Up
Start - View Weapon Info

It almost controls like Geometry Wars. You have 4 types of weapons right now. Heat is shown in the top left corner, once your gun heats up too much you can't shoot anymore. (Not a problem right now because Cooling Speed is set to 2 so it cools fast.)

Once the planet runs out of health it just restarts. Please tell me what kind of framerates you get, if it works with your controller, that kind of thing. Thanks.

If I had one of those controllers I would try it. Unfortunately you have given yourself a very limited audience. Screen looks good though.

You should add normal computer keyboard controls/joystick controls to it so others can try.

Yea, I don't have the money to buy it right now so I'm using the trial.

And I could probably make it run on other joysticks, just have to disable the rumble stuff. I'll see what I can do.

Hey how did you handle the controls like the joystick x and y values means its always moving when i use them in my games like I cant stop my character from moving.

Edit I worked it out myself forget about it heh.

In case anyone finds this thread in future, and wonders what the Admiral was wondering - you set a 'deadzone' in the middle values of the analogue sticks. So, if the range is from -1000 to 1000, with 0 in the middle, make it so that until you reach -200 or 200, the game just counts it as 0. Analogue sticks are notoriously imprecise and you'll need to check the deadzone for your pad yourself - sometimes it's small (like -100 to 100) and other times it'll be horribly huge (-400 to 400 etc). I expect that's the conclusion you came to, Admiral.

As for the game:

"Failed to load DLL (3: DBProXInput.Debug.dll)" Shame, as I've got a 360 pad too - shouldn't have to require that I go find the dll for running the pad.
