When defining a variable as :

float# as DWORD

What is float#'s type ? Is it a DWORD or a float ?

It appears (when I had the problem), its a mixture of both - floating point compares didn't worth although decrease a floating point value did...

It would be helpful if P5 could detect these sort of errors...

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

If it's causing you problems then don't do it

I don't use the type modifiers # or $ so I've never seen this one before.

Its not causing a problem now...

I found it when on one of my machines a comparison was failing. Took a while to find the cause...
