Hey, I just got FPS Creator, and I was wondering if I could put my games on a CD. I got a CD burner, but do I need something else, like a game burner or something?

FPSC creates files as it is being played so you can't physically run the game off the disc. What I suggest is getting something like the free Clickteam's Install Creator, creating an install file and burning that to a disc. That way, the disc will install the game onto the person's computer.

you can also make the install program open up automaticly by creating a file called autorun.inf
and write following code in it:

Btw. Install Creator sucks for commersial use. It's way too expensive. But for freeware it's really good. Then it's for free.

That's not true you can use the freeware version for commercial use, all it includes is a small advert for clickteam at the end of installation...

Thraxas is right. I mean, you look at InstallShield--overwhelming expensive and professional, but it still has an advert the whole way through! Crazy if you ask me.

You can use FPS Pack and burn the .exe to a disk and it will run off of the disk.

Thanx, just one last thing, like in my first post, do I need anything like a game burner or something because all I have is a CD burner?
