i have some questions about making online rpgs in dark basic.
they are very detailed, heres one of them.

im making a picket fence to go around the house i made in 3d. now, do i actually model the picket fence or make a 2d fence and slap it on a regtangular wall? i can do both, but would it cost me too many polygons to make it real?

Id just model it its easier and there is very little difference in polys that actually effect the speed.

poly count will always matter so always try to retain as little polys as u can for the same "look"

Smaller computers with lesser video cards will suffer a slowdown if u had 500 objects with so many polys in each.
