HI folks,
Been away for a bit and back again. I just got a wired xbox 360 controller set up as a gamepad on the pc as i have an idea for a 360 game clone i want to do as a sideline.
The dbJoystickHatAngle function works fine returning the angle of the HAT when pressed but it also returns angle 0 when not pressed as opposed to the value -1 suggested in the help. Is this a code issue ?
The gamepad seems to mesh with the DarkSDKInput.h routines fine in all other senses and works normally as a xbox360 controller (ie doesnt think HAT is pressed 'UP') Ideas please folks ?
BTW just before someone raises the issue the Microsoft drivers interpret the HAT's behaviour correctly in the test section of the gamepad interface under control panel.
