With the eminent release of Model Pack 4, Rick Vanner asked me to make a video preview showing the characters in-game.

I'm not sure if this is what he had in mind...this is probably what would happen if TGC partnered with Budweiser.

Download here, and crank up the volume!

Scantily clad women and old-school Van Halen, now that's some foolproof marketing, huh?

Seriously, though, that wasn't my intention. While testing the model pack I was looking at them through the scope to avoid any camera skew. With these 2 models it felt kind of voyeuristic. It reminded me of those politically incorrect 90's beer commercials...and gave me the idea for this.

I threw this together in about an hour and was laughing the whole time.

If you're going for a full video of all the characters, i would suggest a music video of bohemian rhapsody. I can just see 4 Hazmat guys singing "Is this the real life..."

If you like, i could edit and produce it, "i've worked with bohemian rhapsody before"...

How about this:

Four "policemen" on a platform are holding a "prisoner" captive. They rest of the cast of the model pack is below.

Policeman: We will not let you go
People: Let him go!!
Policeman: We will not let you go
People: Let him go!!
Policeman: We will not let you go
Prisoner: Let me go!!
etc, etc

Sorry Avenging Eagle, I haven't meant to ignore you...I'm pretty burned out with this pack right now, after working down to the wire to get it out by Sept. 1, I need a break.

And I have to hand it to the folks at TGC as well, I sent the final revision for Model Pack 4 around 6pm on Aug. 31, and they were able to get in the newsletter AND ready for sale for Sept. 1!

Since the other thread I asked this in has been buried, How big is Model Pack 4?

I used to have one of those signs, but then realized how annoying it was...

I don't believe so, I've re-downloaded stuff that I've bought from TGC months after I've purchased it.

Just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work getting your pack out. All the characters are great, though I do feel a bit odd shooting that girl in the bikini. Oh well, I got over it pretty fast.

Again thank you, great pack.

That's not what I meant. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I meant if I were to be downloading for a very long time, if it would ever kick me off. I have noticed this happening when I try to download things uploaded to the forums. I believe it only let's me download for about five minutes...

@tschwarz
Glad you're enjoying it!

@Paper Assassin
Well, I've GOT to believe that TGC's download service for purchases is much more robust than the forum. I'm sure there a plenty of people out there still on dial-up, and most of their products are offered as downloads. I'm sure you'd be fine, but if you're still concerned just pop off an email to Rick Vanner or Richard Davey, they could tell you for sure.

@Paper Assassin

You could try Flashget, that way if you get kicked you won't have to start all over, it'll just pick up were it left off. I don't download with out it
