FPSC Classic Models and Media / 3ds to .x conversion help

I can convert 3ds to .x and i have the programs but when no texture comes with the 3ds file then in fps it just is white. Can someone help me with this.

some 3d objects are made with the assumption that the user will have a program which can read predefined texture maps. which means the model it's self hold the color/texture info. only problem is FPSC wants only to read from images.

Here's the short version:
without an image, your S.O.L
try asking the person who made the model for a texture image.

lol ill help some models are already textured at 3DS and when converted will already have a texture, but some just turn out to be white
