I just ordered it *yay* and i was reading on how long it takes, since i got it on a weekend, i have to wait till tuesday? since monday is labor day? SOrry for the newbish question...

Labour Day doesn't exist in the UK, we have bank holidays 5 or 6 times a year. Monday becomes a third weekend day and there's always an August bank holiday on the last weekend in August but we're in september now...

remember all orders a manually checked so i could take a week (if its really popular)

No it could not, its guarenteed 48 hours at the most, if not a weekend, if it takes a week you'll hear me complaining ...specially since i wanted to work with the model pack today

I won model pack 3, but I cant say the uv maps are any good. The pipes are awful, as if a texture had been applied and uvw mapped to fit it. Not all the uv maps are bad, but then again, I havent looked at every thing.

There is an old wooden staircase, but its centred and has no support for the steps, so its quite silly.

Can anyone tell me if model pack 4 requires the update as well?
I don't want to purchase it until the corrections are made for the last update. Like everyone else, I think the new characters might go great with the horror contest theme. Thanks!

No it does not, I created the pack, and it works perfectly fine with version 1, which I'm currently running.

I fail to see why this model pack would need v1.01 to work. Anyway I did install the model pack 3, did re-install v1.0 again (since the framerate drop is totally unacceptable) and it seems to work well so far.

I'm glad I did win Model Pack 3. If I would have purchased it I would have been quite dissappointed with it. The promo's look very cool, but obviously they've not been done with FPSC at all. The pack doesn't look half as good from within FPSC.

I agree with Higgins, the texturing and uvmapping is quite sloppy. But the items itself are cool, I love the segments, fences, doors and so on, but the texturing spoils it a bit.

Good.I'll try installing model pack 3 again if it works on v1.
But I am backing up every last little thing and hiding it first then if it screws up again I'll just erase it and move the original folder back because I'd rather have my eyes poked out with a dull,hot poker than go through what I went through last weekend.

So you might have to back up your V1 folder first, install the pack, then copy V1 back into place. It sounds like the update was included with Model Pack 3 for some reason if I understand correctly.

Well that's the thing, I've asked about the reason, but Lee never responded to that part. I'm still having no problems at all and if I do'run into some later, I'll just wait for the next update before seriously using Model Pack #3.

Btw bond1, I purchased your model pack (#4) yesterday and it's excellent! I'll contact you by email about it later on.

The reason MP3 contains a modified 1.01 is that the models will, on some systems, appear totally white in colour without it due to the way the materials were applied when created.

We've got 1.02 in testing today, hopefully for release later (or this week at least) which removes the 'speed decrease' issue people have been experiencing.

I never had any decrease in speed, Rich. I had the normal 33fps while I was testing the media out.
