Is it possible to have screen overlays for weather effects? If so does anyone know where to find good animations for them?

Thanks, Namung

There are some past threads around somewhere containing weather effects decals and how to use them I believe - do a search.

I think the sprite pack for sale from TGC has some weather decals too but I dont have it - someone can surely confirm if this is so.

There are rain and snow decals located in the entitybank\generic\decals folder.

If you have FPSC open and are putting your game together and you clikc on "add new entity","generic" and then "decals" you should see the rain and snow decals.

you can't see them, because you have to download and install them first:

Hmmm . . . I've tried the snow decal, it seems to work fine but how do i get snow all over the level. At the moment it seems to just stay in one area rather than cover the whole area. Does snyone know how to get the snow to "follow" the player so it gives the illusion of snow covering a wide area?

each section you want snow needs a decal put there. It only does localized snow, not global.

Click on the snow decal and get ready to place it. Press B twice, so that it aligns with the grid. Now place the snow decal on each square where you want snow.
