I've installed the model pack #3 and now according to my firewall the FPSC-Game.exe has changed. Als the game icon of the FPSC-Game.exe has changed into a DB icon instead of FPSC icon.

I'm assuming this is the 1.01 update. I've been working on a game today and this morning it ran 33 fps. After installing model pack #3 the game now runs at 4fps..... this is not funny.

At least you could had given me a warning on install, then I would not have installed the pack until the release of the next update.

I fail to see why the update is needed for a model pack at all.

Well, I'll see if I can find a solution and can get my original install back. I really hope I don't have to re-install everything, then I'm not going to be happy. I'm already a bit ticked off.

Btw, just started thinking... I'm pretty sure it was after model pack #3 the file changed, but it may have been model pack #4 also, installed that one later on.

Model Pack 3 came with the V101 FPS Creator update. I was not aware until today of the speed issue, and I am working on profiling the engine right now. To restore V1, simply backup all your work up by simply renaming the 'FPS Creator' folder to 'FPS Creator BKUP', then uninstall V101, then uninstall V1, then reinstall V1 and copy the FPSC-Game.exe to the 'FPS Creator BKUP' folder. Then delete 'FPS Creator' folder, and rename 'FPS Creator BKUP' back to 'FPS Creator'.

This has been posted inseveral places on the forums and Lee has posted back saying he is working on the bugs as we speak.
Hopefully he will have it fixed shortly.

I didn't back up, but just choose repair from the original version setup and that worked fine also.

@Screwed Over:
What exactly are you talking about by 'save mod'? I haven't been keeping up with mods to FPSC since Riker 9, that guy was just asking for doubters by not posting at least a few screenshots...

@Benjamin A:
I know you've been here longer than me, but so you know, this has been a rapidfire topic the last three or four days. Lee was aware of this issue by the time you posted on the "Update is finally here" thread--ironically that's what he was talking about fixing.

Unfortunately we cant have both this update and emptys mod so i have a proposal for Lee.
In the further updates, could you implement the added futures and fixes in emptys mod or vice versa?

I installed the 1.02 update and tested out some of my maps that I created with v1.0, but it still crashes every time I try to test the game. Every map I created in v1.0 causes this error: "Runtime Error xxxx - Mesh does not exist at line xxxx"
for example:
Quote: "Runtime Error 7003 - Mesh does not exist at line 3367 "
