Hello. I have been making games in FPS Creator for a while now. I deside to make one and share it with my friends. So I put the .exe file it into a .zip file I made and uploaded it on to savefile.com. But when we download the .zip file & click on the .exe game a black screen shows up. And it dosent start I have been trying lots of stuff for a month now and I still only see a black screen. But yet when I run the .exe on my pc when its not in the zip file it works just fine. I need some serous help!

You need more than just the exe file. When you build a game, the builder creates a folder with the exe, the content, and the configuration files. Place all of the files in that folder in a ZIP and it will work on the other end.

If those files where missing,it would give an error Xplosys...it would say like:

Runtime Error(A NUMBER HERE) file does not exist on line(LINE NUMBER)

Negative, Max.

You will only get the black screen.

At mine here it gives an error...

basicly,DBP gives those errors if i file doesnt exist that you do want to open to read.

So...why wouldnt it?

I don't know. I only know what the exe does if you don't supply any of the other files. It is well documented here on the forum. Check it out.

But if you really want proof, just wait until Josh Brown Fan answers back.
