Hi. I'm new here. As was suggested in the title. As my name suggests, I am a Star Wars fan. I am currently using FPS to make a STar Wars game. It is titled: The Han Solo Experience, and tellls of his early adventures, and some of his scuffles with the Empire. I am in charge of research, so that's why I am posting.

I am just posting this, because the threads I would have posted some of these questions in are closed.

1. Now, I have searched the forums for Star Wars, and have found what I wanted... but what the heck is a .rar file? My computer doesn't recognize how to use it, and neither do I! So, could someone please explain how to use a .rar format file? Thanks.

2. In my search, I read something about 'fp2-files.net'.
When I go to 'www.fps-files.net', there is nothing there. Did I use the wrong URL? I read something about a STAR WARS pack they have there...

3. Does anybody know of a Stormtrooper model that is available?

@higgens

in the future, please make your posts more useful or please dont post at all

@Star Wars Fan

a rar file is like a zip file. download winrar ay www.rarlabs.com and you will be able to unzip it.

fps-files.net is no longer availible i beleive.

and as for the storm trooper, i think crow may have made something like that. i know he was posting starwars stuff a while ago.

winrar isn't free. get a program called 7-zip. It can unpack zip, rar, and others.

@ SWFan
You say you've searched this form and then you turn around and ask about 2 products that have nothing to do with TGC.

Im goin to let you in on a little secret. Look at how I have my browser set up:

Amazing huh....and I know what a .rar file is too.....Wanna guess how?

there is a storm trooper around the forums i think its about page 40-50, but there where some bad criticisms about it so u might not want it, and winrar is free as long as you go to download instead of purchase
