I know this is noobish of me and many others may be asking the same question.

Can someone please explain what the new update in FPSC is? I want to see the physical proof that this update has done anything because I read that one of the new features has something to do with boxes exploding whne the explosive has actually hit them, not 2 seconds later. I tested this out a second ago and it didn't work, they boxes had a delay when breaking.

The new updates features have been put into programmers language which I dont understand.

Can someone help me out please?

Thanks.

Is that listed on the 'changes' part of the download page on our site?

Didn't think so. In short if we didn't list it, it didn't 'fix' it.

1.01 was introduced to fix object texture issues with model pack 3, and a few small decal issues in the game engine. It also had a few small source level changes from DBPro 6.2. Due to a compiler flag it caused slow down on some older rigs, which 1.02 resolves again.

That is all it does, nothing more. Reports of it doing stuff like screwing with the entity icons, killing your neighbours dog, etc, are basically wrong.

There is still a bug on 1.02 regarding the V1 made maps. Check the Bug Forum, please.
