The beta model for my current project, just thought it was pretty cool (got some laughs on devhat), yes thats a banana ak47 in his right hand, a peanut butter cannon on his back, and strapped to his chest are none other than the monkey poop grenades (look close and there's some corn/peanuts lodged in the poopy). Pretty good combo

Very cool It's a shame that you've put the banana's on the magazine that way around, as there's a magazine shape for the AK familiy actually refered to as the banana magazine - but it goes the other way around. Still - great idea. Looking forward to seeing the interesting impact particles and decals you'll need to make! (Thank heaven we don't have smellovision.)

Guru? Nay - surely you jest (and mistake me for someone else). I'm just a one-bit hobby coder who occasionally manages to convince herself that pushing a few vertices can't hurt. Really - you've got me mistaken with some other Tinkergirl. Must do.

Looking forward to the WIP though - may I ask the genre? (I'm guessing 3rd person cartoon shooter with platformer aspects.)

Pretty much bang on , Third Person Shooter, Online Capture the Flag game. Thinking of calling it "yoink!" or something along those lines, but enough of that, wip post soon enough.

Anyways, as far as modelling goes, Im working on the 4th weapon ATM, A cat litter launcher. Concept art;



I finished modelling the cat last night;



And Im almost done texturing it as well. Using this as a ref image;



Other than that, Mnemonix, Benjamin, and I think it was ZKAT gave some ideas that ended up as;

- The scope of a sniper rifle, you use it to zoom in on your enemies, then when you've got them in the sights, the guy throws the entire scope at em'. Eliminating the purpose of the scope xD

- A golf club for hitting up close (might add exploding golf balls to the combo as well)

- And... a wheel barrow that shoots out doll houses at people, originally it was going to be full sized houses, but I thought that might slow the game down a bit , and... whoever had it would pwn.

Hopefully if I put in a few hours of good work tonight Ill be testing the game on IRC at around 10ish EST with whoevers willing on IRC, and Ill post the wip soon after. Thats, *hopefully*.

Well, here's the finished cat model, the gun should go a lot quicker.
