Basicly that's it, Can you use 3dsMAX pivot points in the object rotation commands of DBPRO? I'm having a hard time to have two object stay aligned i.e. a shell in a gun barrel ready to be fired.

THANKS

I don't know what a 3DS pivot point is, but if it doesn't get exported to the .X file, then no. Basically, you can use meshed and bones. So you could use a bone to set the direction, in DB Pro it will become a limb.

the object with rotate around this point,I just thought if DBPRO can handle bones this might work, as bones won't really work well for what I trying to achieve. Thanks

The answer, then, is no I'm afraid. EzRotate allows you to rotate an object around a point, and even has an example using a door.

Not to detract attention from EzRotate, I know its got a bunch of improvements/add ons to DBP's native commans, but you could achieve the same effect using limbs or mathc. Just use a dummy object, usually a triangle with size 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 and is hidden to give it minimal lag, and add a limb to it. Use that limb to position the object on, and rotate the dummy object.

... meh.

Right on, I wasn't sure how limbs were used in DBPRO, And I hadn't heard of EzRotate yet either. Thanks guys.
