Very slick indeed

Final Score:
Player 1 - 1 Computer

scorers:

Player assisted by Computer
Computer Team
Computer assisted by Player

Only 2 very small issues I found, after scoring rotation seems to still be where you where facing when you scored and when the camera pans out you are getting distance culling issues with the arena floor showing through the objects.

All in all a very slick game that plays well. Nice job.

Yes - if you play it for a while you will be able to score through skill! - I'm looking forward to releasing the split screen 2 player game I think that will be good fun to play.

Computer is as intelligent as I hope in the final version. I need to program how it responds in relation to the players position and the puck position. At the moment the AI is quite simple. (I will probably keep it for the first players you play in the tornament mode and then increase the intelligence as you progress.)

Glad you liked it! Cheers.

NickIgoe - Alas, I could not finish it for the retro comp. in time - I had other commitments so this is as far as I got. Weekdays and weekends were full over the last month. I also didn't want to release a halfbaked unfinished/finished version. I want to get some sort of network 2 player version going at work soon too.

Hey, good game ...

The design is simple and slick, as i like it ! ( future-ish styled )

The controls are a bit hard to handle ( momentum/inertia is really hard to master there ! ), but nevertheless, a nice game.

Keep it up !

Kohai - When the tournament mode is included then you'll have the motivation to improve. It's actually quite easy to beat the computer 5 or 6-0 if you've practiced alot!

Okay, so the tornament version isn't ready yet! But if you have already downloaded the file from the top of the page, you can now download the file in this zip and run it in the same directory for 2 player split screen mode. Chuffed I was to get this change done in less than an hour! Still using DBPro3 though, DBPro4 doesn't work very well with my exported (by panda) X files.
Trying to sort it...

College will finish by June so I'll finish the game then...
