Ok well iv finished my first 3d model, which i modeld from a picture. Thats all good. im using blender 2.5, and i cant seem to texture it. Please could i get some help here, i tried texturing a simple cube too and i cant . So a tutorial on texturing an object with an IMAGE would be helpful.

Peace

This page has a link to a video tutorial on UV mapping, its for an older version of Blender but its still easy enough to follow.

I thought the latest version of Blender was 2.42?

http://www.blender.org/cms/Home.2.0.html If you’re using 2.25 you might want to upgrade to the latest version, its free after all and it seems quite a lot gets improved/added in each release (plus the video tut is in 2.34 - don’t think all the features mentioned were available in 2.25).
