Hey everyone. ive been using milkshape to model and just recently bought DB Pro and i'm trying to get some of my models into it. I UV map using lithunwrap then apply the textures back in milkshape which work fine. then i export them as .x files to use in dark basic. I then use the LOAD OBJECT command then POSITION OBJECT so i can see it. Now i can see the model but its not textured properly even though it's fine in milkshape. ive changed all those extra options on LOAD OBJECT but they didn't do anything. i also tried both export .x options (the DirectX 8.0 and the JT one) and nothing worked.

Ive looked through the forums on TGC and on the milkshape forums and there seems to be a couple of problems with using milkshape with DBP (especially animattion) but i havn't found any answers so any help on this would be great.

there are three types of people in this world. those who can count and those who can't.

So Your Projects Folder looks like this?

PROJECT FOLDER

DB Source file

DBP Project file (if you have DBP)

ModelName.x file

ModelNameTextureFile .dds / png / bmp etc

and your DB Source file code looks something like this?

What exporter are you using from Milkshape.
JT's one is the better option IIRC.
