He has a point... some drive which are a little bugged with autodetection have a problem validating the CD.
Rob K has noted he has used a crack to solve this problem, it's not exactly a pleasent solution - but if you do have a legitimate copy then it is atleast a solution.

if he is allowed to share this with you is really upto DBS's point of view on this situation and the fact of you being an official owner of the software or not.

Hi guys! I have the same CD check problem, but I haven't understood the way you solved it... (sorry, my English needs some improvements) Will I finally need a crack? How can I get it? I'm a bit messed up.

Thx so much.

I have 2 drives...a CDRW and a DVD drive. If the DB CD is in the CDRW drive it won't validate the compliler...only works if its in the DVD drive. Guess it is (as Raven pointed out) an autodetection problem.

I had a similar problem on my old computer, as it CD's didn't autorun. I had a game, which froze at times because it needed to get stuff off the CD, but didn't detect it. I found sometimes that taking the CD out and then putting it back in made it work again...don't know if it will work with you but its worth a try
