.:sight:. again, someone asks a question with as little information given as possible.... can someone actually give us more detail this time? Like the format?

and can someone actually post in the right forum? and maybe drop the attitude?

(this forum is not for 3d Gamemaker)

Well I'll reply, I don't know the answer though, and I'm sure others don't. Sounds like a peculiar problem to me.

ok, its in an ".x" format, that is the only one that it will take, the tutorial says that i can find advanced tutorials on the official syte but i don't see any, the square i see is probably the square you start out with on blender (the one you see as soon as the window pops up)and that's all,and whenever i want to customyse it, the whole thing brakes apart and shuts down itself.

Hmmm... call me crazy, but have you tried other modeling software. I use milkshape or 3d wings. Both are free software and my models import/export fine.
Your problem might be hardware. For instance if you have an old computer or a mac when the program is only meant for pc. I doubt that's the problem because the software is usually pretty versitile, but i might as well throw that idea out there.

ok there are two types of .x exporters. you should highlight your model (slect it) and then choose the second option for .x. if that doesn't work try the first one with the model selected. or maybe you can export it as an .obj file and then convert it in milkshape to the .x format.

i have milkshape but out of the 1,000 ways to export a file, it doesn't export in a .x file, but i'll try what Reality Forgotten said.

I'm only crazy part time and am freelance crazy, you see I just don't give my crazy away for free...

When you say 'my 3D game maker' are you refering to '3D game maker' or another 3D game making app. Generally .x models load when exported as ascii, I would suspect Milkshape does this naturally, or it could be a strange thing, I've tried to load a .x in the Truevision SDK before, but wouldn't, I exported it again and it did, which I found odd, obviously a bug in my exporter, perhaps theres one in yours.

It might as well with all the free codes anyone could just google. Not that I condone it in any way, it's ridiculus that people will cheat a company out of money like that. They can't just pay like the rest of us...

k, had to get my rant out about warez users
