ok i have a small problem on one of my levels.

The light shud be circular yet it doesnt do that! all i wanna know is how to fix it! screenshot attached! don't know how to explain the problem but the screenshot shows it!

am using the new v1.03 RC1 verison and yes i know i have to put a roof on.

Looks like a shader problem but could be something else.

There are apparently some shader issues in FPSC and if they are such then they are well documented already.

Best advice is dont use shaders at the moment until FPSC has better or more complete support for them and any real issues are addressed.

It could be the light, it's not falling on those area's of the wall model. Simple make 2-3 lights around the object to fully light it.

It's FPSC and its lightmapping.Sometimes instead of letting off shadows it does the "box lighting" thing as shown in your pic.
Most of the time it is acceptable or doesn't look too bad but in your case I would suggest you do what Airslide suggested.

There is a suddent shift in light seen on the floor, one end is a yellow colour, the other is black, it should all be yellow and fade out in a circular pattern.

Wisemen are hard to find, they are tarnished by sayings and quotes that are not of their true nature.
