I have several skycubes available at my site. Designed around the FPSC platform, they also work with your DB/DBP projects.

If your interested, the site address is:

[href=http://www.skycubes.com]
www.skycubes.com[/href]

Thanks for taking a look.

Your biggest problem is that there are so many free, and extremely high quality skycubes available from forum users there is no need to buy them

BatVink,

Can you send me in the right direction? I'd like to view some of these that are available. I've been using the FPSC forum for 2 years and haven't seen much in the way of "free" skycubes. Maybe I've missed something over here in DBP land.

Thanks.

Just search for skybox in this forum. However I think this thread will lead you to the most used ones.

There is a link in that thread to Clueless's ones which are fantastic.

Alternatively, there are some fantastic skyspheres on the OSMMORPG forum.

Well, I've seen Cluless's cubes and I did a search but I don't see an overwhelming number of free cubes available.

In any event, if people find something they like at my site great. If not, not a biggie.

I will be adding an Exclusive Cube section soon. Maybe that will appeal to more people...having the option to purchase a one-of-a-kind skycube for their one-of-a-kind game.

Moved, because some people who've been using the forum for 2 years still don't know where to post media.

I need to know. How do I determine which forum to post in? I have no clue. When I look at the threads below, which are posts about media, they are in the same place I posted.

Hey dude,

obviously - Solely DBP related stuff in DBP, DB in DB, Dark Physics in dark physics, thats all bloody obvious, not gonna patronise any more, 3D Chat is basically the 3D modelling section, 2D chat I guess discusses 2D techniques, General talk/geek culture is your unrelated section if you like, or your 'others'

In this area I haven't seen much in the likes of sky boxes, something I might consider using as place holders if I ever get that far in a project But the textures could be stolen for renders/test renders.

How many times have you posted about your skycubes, skycubes?

It's a simple case of them lasting longer here because more people are gonna find them. It's best to keep media resources in the same place, because that way nobody is expected to tredge through the DBP forum when they need a skycube (or whatever).

I don't have a problem posting my skycubes information in any forum you want me to put them in. That's a non-issue for me. However, as I pointed out above, there are clearly other threads on the same topic as mine that have been posted but not moved.

Looking at it from my perspective, if this is the first time I have posted in the DB Pro side of the house, what more can I do to be prudent about where I post than searching for where similar posts have been put and examining the category descriptions? I did both of those before posting here.
