Hi guys,

I'd like to introduce you all to Online Gamer. It is a new site where you can view all the news on games created using FPSC. If you want your game reviewed, simply send us a link to your setup/demo, and we will review it ASAP.

We are also proud to announce that we will be hosting an awards ceremony on 1 January 2007. You can send us the link and fill in the fields required on the submit page, and we will play it, enter it into your categories and judge its position. If you win you will receive an award that you can place on your game's site, and all games will be reviewed with the review placed on the Online Gamer site.

Also, just to note, all entries for the competition and reviews are free.

This will soon be a great way to get your game noticed and get a little prestige to your company/game.

Feedback always useful!

Not a bad idea. Good luck with this.

The forum provides a means to hide our true identity. Too bad we always screw up and let it be seen.

00bk,

Moved here from the Showcase board for the time being to see how it develops. As its stands it does not meet with Showcase Forum requirements.

You need to improve the content of that site and provide contact full details regarding who you are.

So what are these awards then? are they just titles or do the Winners get anything to accompany an award?

I doubt you will get many giving you their content unless they see you as someone they can trust - looks rather dubious to me currently - still perhaps you will be able to alay any suspicions I may have.

The site does not mention FPSC at all - not sure its even relevant here.

The site is still under construction - I'm still adding bits and bobs, FPSC will be advertised and displayed on the site ASAP. The awards are at the moment *just* titles, but if this grows into something bigger, we may ask for a small payment for entries (like most other awards companies) so that the winners can receive a money prize.

Thanks for the feedback though.

If anyone else has any queries about the site, please post here .

00bk,

Thanks for providing further info at least such gives users a better Idea of what its all about.

Nothing wrong with just an award as long as entrants know thats all they are getting.

I dont see many user here contributing cash to enter but I may be wrong. Sounds like a non starter for 10 to me.

Good luck you will probably need it based on that criteria.

And my advice is dont use the Term in Association with FPSC unless you speak to TGC about using that terminology - doing so suggests that the whole thing is somehow endorsed by TGC and it is not - if you dont change that I will lock this thread.

Use some common sense. You seem to be in a hurry - you need to think clearly about what you do and where you go from here instead of throwing anything on the site page as quickly as is possible.

@UMAN:
I will only hand out cash prizes if people are willing to pay for entries, and if therefore if they aren't willing to pay then there will be no cash... simple as that . Still, an award is something to show !

@ACCEL LEON:
Love to have that, please email me with any details . Thanks for offering.

@UMAN:
OK, I've taken the FPSC image off of the navbar - I hope that's better ...

I've also taken a liking to a greyer background... what do you guys think, I've attatched an image of the site with the greyer background to this post, feedback welcome!
