How can i find, during run-time, what is the FOV angle,
and the camera view coordinates defined by 'SET CAMERA'?

you mean there is no special commands for it,
but it doesn't mean it cant be done.

You could pre-define them, and change the value, i suppose ... can't you? FOV# = 100 ... ? Blah Blah SET FOV Camera Number, FOV#. Please note that I have never used that command, and this might be totally off, but I tried.

P.S. This is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

You can't get the FOV of the camera. However - if you've got "autocam" turned off, you already know the FOV of the camera and it will never change unless you change it. Consequently - you always know the FOV value (see the FOV Tutorial on the defaults, etc).

Could you not calculate it from the VIEW MATRIX4 command? ... Except that there doesn't seem to be any way of interrogating the values held within the matrix.

You could - the value is stored in the view matrix (along with scale, rotation, etc) but there is no command to get at the values of a matrix4. Well, there is (GetMatrix) but it's not enabled! You could possibly load up the 3Dmaths DLL and try accessing it that way, but it's a long shot and quite frankly a lot of hassle just to return 16 floats!

Cheers,

Rich
