Hello,

we are searching for a good programmer to make a economy simulation.
50% of the game have already been finished but the former programmer had to leave the project.
What we need is one programmer or a programmer team (even better) to finish the game.
The game is commercial - so of course the job is payed but there is not much time to finish it.

For further informationen about us, our project, the payment and time - please contact us.

OK, well your in a catch-22.

If you don't post screenshots, this thread will get locked.

if you post screenshots, your commercial 'work' will be... [insert verb associated with excuse]

Why do screenshots matter if you post them not like anyone can steal your idea or anything.

even if they do, the chances are its been done before.

Simple, team requests fall beneath strict rules, anything in work in progress requires a good description and suitable screenshots, team requests are rare to be left unlocked and generally get flamed a whole lot more than a screenshotless project. I am not a flamer myself, you haven't provided anything to show promise for this programmer, how is a programmer going to be interested in a project that they have no idea about in the description. I was looking in the job papers today, I saw one saying 'Cleaner Wanted' and a number there, thats it, cleaner is a convenient job for a student as they are usually evening hours, but I am not going to apply for it.

So I know your new, so I'll let you know WIP and Team requests are generally based around strict requirements, just keep within them. Give more info, if you can't give out info, then your company is screwed for finding programmers.

It's a simulation about how the prostitution industry keeps the economy going, don't you understand anything?

I was talking to these guys and pretty certain they're genuine, I'm rather impressed by what they have to show. I can't help them because of contract restrictions, but I'd advise anyone who hopes to work on a serious game to drop these guys an email

have to admit, those models look pretty nice, if a little.. 'scandalous'

if this project is for real, which im willing to believe it is, then it sounds like it should be good. i don't really have time for 'work hours' mind you.

one thing, has the 50% of code so far been written in DBP? because you don't come across many 'serious projects' as kentaree called it. kinda wish there wasn't so much secrecy anyhows..

Is the product in English? Because, no offense, but it doesn't seem like English is your first language, so I was wondering if English is what the game is in.

Probably in Spanish French or German. /me am captain obvious

But I would assume the programmer would leave the dialogue up to the writers anyhow.

Can you send information/screenshots to someone "official" at TGC, and have them post on this thread stating that you are legit? If you can't share any information with the public, that's the next best thing (even better in some cases).

@ImageAll: They're German.

@RiiDii: Probably not much help to you, but I was talking to him over MSN, and I believe they are completely legit, the game looks very interesting so far.

The two characters who have had a screenie posted both look like they come out of a dodgy stripclub or something.

I am shocked to think the maker of Geisha House would say such a thing (however much I might agree)!
