Yes, I've read the docs, and I've searched and read EVERY post on doors and the problems and fixes etc...I still hate putting them in.. lol, seems that I can keep getting a few of the same problems over and over again. I know it's just that I need to keep working at it. Just gets a tad frustrating after a bit. Okay, just needed to vent a bit. Will keep trying and reading.....

One question I could not find an answer or, and I *did* look. When I use the prefab segments to create a room, and then put in my doors (lol assuming they work after testing them), I have a few textures I *really* love and paint using, paint just the walls from the segment menu. If I paint the door, again, it's blocked. So is it I just have to not pain the segment that has the door in it? (yeesh, not even sure that paragraph made any sense :/)

Thanks in advance...

nope, not really.

it's really easy to make a door work.

just have a wall you want a door in, then use a door segment and click the wall with the arrow pointing into it.

If that didn't answer it, then I have no idea what you are talking about.

you got to paint the wall first then add the door....

if the door is placed already and you paint the wall your gonna have a wall infront of your door everytime...

easy fix for this is after you paint your walls even the one where the door is at. All you need to do is select your door segment again then left click the door to erase the door on the map then right click it back in the same place.... This should fix things for you...

ahh okay thank you Clips, thats what the problem was. I would paint a texture I loved for the walls and it screwed up the door for me. Thanks again guys.

It's in the manual on how to paint a wall it doesn't have to have custom segments to paint a wall....

Nice banner and site. The bullets taste spicy!
