Hey, Im new to the game creator website (and fairly new to darkbasic, but i do have a pretty good background) and im having troubles with my models.

Iv'e been modeling for quite some time and am pretty good at it. I'm now planning on putting my models in darkbasic and making a quite simple rpg. Using the 3ds format, I load the models in darkbasic, but when I actually put them in the source code they arn't textured (they apear white). I dont no what to do because when i mapped in 3ds max 8 I used multiple maps and applied them to ceraint parts of the model. If someone could help me that would be great. Thanx

the 3DS format doesnt load all or any textures in Dark Basic applications.we all have no clue why.it just happens.get it in .X format and it should work fine.

(Search the FPSC forums for a .3ds to .x converter)

no you were clear i was just making sure (by the way would i convert them after i have textured them or before, and in darkbasic would i have to use a command to load my maps or would they be applied to the object when i load it. also would i bee able to apply several maps and have them on certain faces of my models like i do in 3ds max). once again thanx
