This is a no beef contest between locrian and myself. We are curious who will build the best plane.

Locrian is using the cylinder approach, and I am using the Box approach. Let's try to keep this flamewar free as it may turn out to help alot of us entry level modelers. Try to keep comments constructive .

I think we should try to a 2000 poly limit.

There is always a catch so here it is, the loser has to make a model of the winners choice for free.

Attached is the model we will be making.

the best of luck to you Locrian.

A hah I see what you're doing, nice idea, just don't steal my entries, we've been a little light on those recently

Good luck to both of you. (When you said best plane I thought as in a flat 3D object, I though, too easy )

I think its good to have something more directed at entry level modellers, my contest although having the room to let newbies win, but non newbies quite often win.

It will be interesting to see what the outcome is.

Its a common typo I make, heck similar the happen in writing with me, like They is the, heck I did it in my first draft coursework and my english teacher made it clear there.

I should really watch what I am typign (Okay I typo'd typing on purpose )

As for the writing it wrong, I think thats down to thinking to far ahead, heck I even write down the wrong words when I have a lot in my head and want to get it down before it loses its flavour.

yup, especially on those computers that control the core of nuclear plants, some fool will 'let down the heat number' but meltdown a certain number of nuclear plants, and some how its set off nuclear warheads in a nearby Silo, which spontaneously explode destroying the world and we all die. Because of some stupid typo.
