i loaded a car from darkmatter into my latest game, and it is facing the wrong way. i use the "yrotate object" to get it facing the way i want, but when i press left or right, the object suddenly points in the original direction.

Try adding FIX OBJECT PIVOT to your code. Once you rotate the object to
the newly disired angle, this will make that angle the new absolute zero.
