Hi, I got a question,
is there a way to make it so that when you
pick up and throw an physics active dynamic entity,
and that entity collides with another object
that a sound happens?

IE, if I chuck the guitar and it hits the floor, it would be
nice if there was the sound of an impact between the floor
and the guitar.

cheers.

there is a sound. if you look at the material index of the guitar, it might be 5.

go to the auddio bank and find the material sounds

find material 5.

the noise for when an object hits and slides on the floor is something like "scrape"

you could change it to whatever you want, but evey object of that material index will make the same sound.

therefor you might have to type a new number for the material index, and create you own material sounds in the soundbank.

thanx for that. I found the materials index text and the
audiobank wav files, but,the guitar makes no noise when it's
hurled on the floor etc. are the entities supposed to make a
material sound play by default? Because mine are not doing that.
Like, how do I tell the object to play it's material sound?

Try using the crateb

ww2/furnatureb/crateb

change static to no

should make sound when you slide or throw it.

At least it does on mine.
