Thanks. Only certain types of boxes can be moved as well as wooden planks and a few other items. Its a puzzle game with locked doors, boxes of different weights, gravity pads that alter the direction of gravity, and more. I wont go into too much detail yet!!

How about you, or anyone else?

just a comment, do you have two sun on your planet or is there another light source in the seen some where, just shadows look wrong, but it looks ok.

I use 3D World Studio as the level creator/editor. I use custom entities within 3DWS to set level parameters, position objects, etc. For example i can drop in a custom box entity and setup its size, physics parameters (weight, material), texture, sound etc all within 3DWS. I can literally knock up a new level and play it without ever going back into DBP and adding more code.

Edit: That is because "No entrants as of 4th September 2006." means that there were no entrants before or on the date of the 4th of september 2006...

But then again, I would be worried also. (Begins getting worried about being able to finish)

I posted mine in the WIP, considering you can only win one prize im going to go for the hardware. That gives me a whole month to continue. Even at my games basic stages, not to brag or anything, my brother and his friend LOVED the controls and how the game was played. Im even quite happy wit how its turning out.
If you ask me, how you control the game/camera placement is a MAJOR part of games.

Hi everybody! I just sent in my entry. I would have loved to have posted sooner, but I've been working nonstop. But at last, it is over! (So long as YouSendIt.com doesn't fail me...)

Anyway, my game is titled "Rolling Fury". You roll around collecting items for cash, and avoiding obsticles. I've attached a screenshot.

Not as nice as I was hoping for. I threw it together in the last minute when I realized that there was only a week left and very few entries. It only has 2 1 player levels and 1 two player. Oh well.

I hear you, Cooning. I worked so long on the base program, but was only able to create 3 levels by the deadline... But length wasn't really the objective, so it shouldn't really matter.

Some nice looking entries. I joined the "5 days to go, I'll have a quick shot!" brigade

This is a very simple Stack 'em up and knock 'em down game. It's set in a Fast Food shop, you are the destroyer of bad nutrition and fatty fast food.

Geez, just days after the first half of the competition is over, TGCs announce another sweet looking compo... I guess I know where my free time is being devoted next.

Well, since I'm not doing the hardware comp, here's my game for you guys to try! Enjoy! I don't think it's too bad for something thrown tegether in a couple of days between work and school (also for something made with that demo). I think the most Annoying thing about making it with the demo was that I was pretty much limited to cloths, particles, and box and sphere rigid bodies.

All the games I saw in this list really look nice!

My game is the first one I ever created in DB-Pro (never even heard of it before I read about the competition!)! And it gave me some really difficult things to work out (around), because I just had the Demo (no PhysiX-collision-report and -triggers etc.), but in the end it run! (Sorry, but I have no space to put a screenshot of my game, but it's not that important to look at!)
But after I saw what you all throw into the competition, I think my "PhysiX-Brick-Breakout" will NOT have any chances against them!

The game from "Joe" plays very fine (maybe the look/steering with the keys is a bit slow, mouse-look might have been a better choice in my eyes, but it might be intended to be like it is, to make it more difficult! )!

The game from "Neptune" seems to be a favorite, because all I have read seems like it brings much fun and needs some thinking to win!

"RedMotion"'s game also looks interesting to me!

I really wonder how the other (8?) games would look like and how they do play with the "PhysiX"!

I'm really excited who will win and what it will be (I mean the game and how it will play!)?

"Alfred", your editor absolutly looks like a "must-have" tool to me! If it gets even better, I think you could easily sell it! (Are you sure to offer it for FREE??? )
