I checked it out and it loads the models and textures fine.
Rotates fine.
Pressing control to have it tell you how many polys the model has is uber cool.
Now for a few questions...
Is there any way to move the model up or down or closer or farther away at this point or was I just too obtuse to figure it out?
Do you know how long it will be before you have a version that will export?
Will there be some way to choose scipts, object types, adjust the scale, etc.
I will say this...if it exported properly at this point, even without all of the other bells and whistles I have asked about,
it would be the easiest importer ever.
Pick a model,pick a texture,and export.
Looks like a good WIP.

Thanks,i tried to fix all bugs i found before even posting this WIP,and you know whats the best thing of this application?

it's 100% FREE and Lisence Free.i dont think all apps need payment before useage, myself i hate it when that happens.

there was something i wanted to fix too,but i cant figure out what it was now...oh well.first my homework.

Thanks for your positive reply.

EDIT:

just noticed i added zoom in and out in the newest version

(NOTE: rotating with the arrowkeys does NOT affect exporting at any way.)

Thanks, although it doesnt look like people like this,i know people dont like to respond or even test applications that they think that wont make it to real release.but this one will.but not today.or tommorow.

homework eats me,kills me...melts me...

export still has bugs.so i mtrying to get everything from *.fpe files into my head to create a perfect exporter.then adding a scaler, then releasing first full version.

then adding more functions.more advancent ones.

Oh,BTW,

Glad you like it FredP,just doing something back for the community.i think they deserve a free good entity importer (Although almost everyone has Magik FPS or E.C.S. or the entity maker from TGC)

There are quite a few members here who can't afford ECS or Magic FPS...or simply won't pay for it...
I support this and I think it is a great alternative to the free entity maker that FPSC has.
I think there are a lot of people that are interested in this.
Some may be waiting to see how it comes along first...
And there are those that never post.

I was one of those waiting for it to get a little further along. I will be happy to test/use/smash whatever you would like me to do with it. Take your time (I know you are) and do a great job. Don't worry about the community response. So far it looks professional.
