FPS Creator is just awesome, and fun!
Today it took me about two minutes to
add a scope to the assault rifle.

Yesterday using a particular entity
I invented a new fun weapon, ok, it took
me about four hours, and that was time well spent.
it's just incredible
how cool a program this is. And, the physics
just works great and adds a
mega new dimension to what is possible.

The way everything is exposed is just delightful
and educational. I admit that I'm still coming to terms
with all sorts of aspects expecially regards the scripting
but to me having mucked around with multiple engines
this system is the best ever!

I have one question today
which is probably dumb but here it is.

I worked out you can have entities be objectives
and so I made a few entities gave them different objective
numbers then ran the level and sure enough when I
collected all the objectives the level ended.
So, what is the point of the WINzone Marker?

A way to end the level without objectives. Say, if you want the level to end when the player reaches a certain area.

The forum provides a means to hide our true identity. Too bad we always screw up and let it be seen.

xplosys said it all

The WINZONE is really an objective, but so you don't need an item, insted you just need to reach a specific segment and it will finish that level.

anyway stormboy, what assault rifle are you talking about? both the one found in generic (modern day weaponry) and the one found in sci-fi already have zoom (scope) by default, are you talking about a custom assault rifle you made?

(side note: If you think physics on this game rule, have you ever played hl2? or evan d3?)

My love is seperated in 2 parts, 1 of them is 3ds Max 7, the other; FPSC.

Hi and thanx xplosys for quite a cool observation/answer.

DJ professor K, I modified the assault rifle in /sicfi, it's the only assault rifle I have, I checked my info and its correct,
because I made a complete safety back up dir in different drive
for ref and sanity sake, I can tell, the original assault rifle
is zoomless, I'm pretty sure......Here's original assault gunspec txt.

But even better, my custom weapon is now animated in milkshape a day later! So, even though I was excited in original post, I'm prepared to
live with my outburst!

Next I'm going to check out what gives with the model orientation
in milkshape, finish and test a proper full animation
and then if I get click installer I may be tempted to
even release a custom weapon with animations just for fun!
Later today even, unless that's too dumb a thing to do.
