hello i wondering how u get a dossier to show text and the other topic i looked at didnt work....

That's what I use. REMEMBER, though, to change the "customimg" string for every single seperate use of the script. For instance, if you want another dossier with different text, you need to change all the "customimg"s to, for example, "customimg2".

they are pretty much the same

and you replace the pic with your own in the specified directory.

uh, use .jpg it's easier to work with than .tga.

and since you have no computer skills and can't click on that link I gave you, here is the script.

look at it, it's is really straight forward what you need to do.

Silent,

Brummel's script in that link wouldn't have worked (if another timer was already being used) without the engine modification that includes multiple timers, because... well, it used timers. But the zone one will work, provided the script is attached to a trigger zone and not the dossier itself.

btw jiffy how did you get colonel x to look like hes dead in project luna(great game, good work)? i tried that on another game i was working on but didnt work all the ways people suggested it.
